These Terms of Use govern access to and utilization of verilocal.biz and its associated services. By accessing VeriLocal or creating an account, you unconditionally accept and agree to abide by these terms.
1Platform Scope & Role of VeriLocal
VeriLocal is an independent bilingual digital platform designed to facilitate matchmaking between homeowners / project creators and verified local businesses / tradespeople across Southwest France.
Important: VeriLocal operates as an independent matching platform. VeriLocal is not a contractor, party to quotes, or guarantor of contracts entered into directly between users and listed businesses.
2Search Neutrality & Match Score Algorithm
VeriLocal enforces strict algorithmic neutrality. No business can pay to purchase the top search ranking. Results are sorted solely by our Match Score algorithm based on:
- Service and trade alignment with the user’s search brief.
- Geographic proximity and verified operational radius.
- Evidence Score (Verified Décennale insurance, SIRET, verified portfolio showcases).
- Authentic client reviews and verified response responsiveness.
3Pro Membership, 1-Click Cancellation & Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG)
Includes the official "★ VeriLocal Pro" badge, 5 Customer Access Credits loaded monthly, priority email notifications, and quote management tools (without altering organic Match Score ranking). The membership has no long-term commitment: cancel anytime in 1 click via the Stripe Customer Portal with zero cancellation fees.
Allows any business to unlock a client’s direct contact details for a specific project brief, subject strictly to the 3-provider slot cap per inquiry.
If contact details in an unlocked project brief are demonstrably invalid (disconnected phone, bouncing email) or submitted fraudulently, you have 7 days to report the lead via your dashboard or support. Following verification, your credit is promptly refunded or credited back to your balance.
4Client Reviews, Moderation & Right of Reply
To ensure marketplace transparency and authentic reputation:
- Any verified customer who requested work may leave an authentic review.
- Business owners possess a permanent public right of reply via their dashboard.
- Defamatory, fraudulent, or abusive reviews are strictly prohibited and audited upon dispute.
5Personal Data & Free Unlisting Rights (GDPR)
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and French data privacy laws:
- Right to rectification and erasure: Any business owner or tradesperson listed from public registries may request the update, correction, or immediate complete removal of their directory profile free of charge.
- Simple procedure: Send your request to contact@verilocal.biz or use our contact form. Removal and rectification requests are executed within 48 business hours.

All brand assets, software architecture, Match Score algorithms, logos, and UI designs are protected by copyright and international intellectual property treaties. Unauthorized scraping or reproduction is strictly prohibited.
8Applicable Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the French Republic. In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved amicably, jurisdiction shall belong exclusively to the competent courts of Southwest France.
